Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using TrustMyBiz ("Platform"), operated by BRC Web ("we", "us"), you ("user", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under Indian law to use the Platform. By creating an account, you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate, current information and update it as needed.
• One person or one business may not maintain multiple accounts to manipulate reviews or rankings.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our policies.

4. User content & reviews

• You retain ownership of content you post (reviews, photos, comments).
• By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute that content on the Platform and in related promotional materials.
• Reviews must be your genuine first-hand experience. Fake, paid, incentivised or competitor-disparaging reviews are prohibited — see our Review Integrity Policy.
• You must not post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, hateful, threatening or invasive of privacy.
• We may, without notice, edit or remove content that violates these Terms.

5. Business listings & verification

• Business owners may claim listings and submit GSTIN, CIN, Udyam and other documents for verification.
• You warrant that all information and documents you submit are true, accurate and lawfully provided.
• A "Verified" badge means we have reviewed the submitted documents — it is not an endorsement of business quality, financial standing, or specific transactions.
• We may revoke verification at any time if information is found to be false or outdated.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use automated scrapers, bots or crawlers without our written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform.
• Interfere with or disrupt Platform operations.
• Use the Platform to send spam, phishing, malware or unsolicited commercial messages.
• Resell, sub-licence or commercialise data obtained from the Platform.

7. Intellectual property

The Platform — including its design, code, logo, trademarks and editorial content — is owned by or licensed to BRC Web. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without prior written consent, except as permitted by fair use under the Copyright Act, 1957.

8. Third-party services & links

Business listings, service requests, and external links lead to third-party services we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, products, services or practices of those third parties.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that listings, ratings, contact details, or business credentials are complete, current, or error-free. Users should perform their own due diligence before transacting with any listed business.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BRC Web shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill arising from your use of the Platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed ₹10,000 (Indian Rupees Ten Thousand).

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BRC Web, its officers, employees and affiliates from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for breach of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the profile settings.

13. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the Consumer Protection Act 2019 (which may give consumers the right to file in their place of residence), the courts at Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

14. Grievance redressal

In accordance with the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Intermediary Guidelines 2021, complaints may be addressed to our Grievance Officer:

15. Changes

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
